About the Speakers

Carolyn Betts Fleming: Carolyn is the Founder and CEO of Betts Recruiting, which she started in 2009 and has now grown to five offices across the US. With over 15 years of experience, Carolyn is an expert in both hiring and scaling businesses of all sizes within the tech sector. In 2019, she oversaw Betts Recruiting’s rollout of Betts Connect, an online platform matching talented professionals to top companies. Carolyn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is more recently a graduate of Harvard Business School's OPM program.

Kathryn Barnes: Based in the UK, Kathryn is the European Counsel for Globalization Partners. Kathryn deals with any and all legal matters pertaining to employment law and supports the company’s ever-expanding business formation. Kathryn’s diverse and substantial background in European employment law and business, allows her to close out complex issues and provide legal counsel in many different areas within the business. Kathryn’s expertise is crucial for producing tangible and viable solutions in legal matters. Globalization Partners was founded with the aim of helping businesses hire employees anywhere in the world, without the need of setting up costly international subsidiaries. The main goal at Globalization Partners is to eliminate borders as barriers to global business.

Helen Farr: Helen is an Employment Partner at Taylor Wessing, whose practice covers the full spectrum of employment law and human resources strategy with extensive experience in complex advisory and litigation projects. Helen has particular expertise of working with clients in the financial, tech and professional services sectors. Over recent years, Helen has guided many banks and solo regulated firms through the complexity of the employment issues related to the introduction of the senior managers & certification regime and on cross over employment and regulatory issues. Helen’s focus is on strategic matters such as workplace discrimination of a sensitive nature, equal pay, team moves, boardroom disputes and employment cases involving financial services regulatory issues. She is also well versed in dealing with industrial relations issues.

Andreas Glänzer: Having spent over 10 years in high growth marketing and technology companies, including consulting for Google and regional leadership roles at iProspect, Andreas developed an immense passion for data driven decisions and took this into co-founding Adverity and leading their growth as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Andreas is responsible for developing and executing Adverity's commercial strategy across all regions and overseeing marketing, sales, ecosystem and client relationships. Adverity was founded on the belief that data can fundamentally improve how brands and customers connect and interact with each other. It is as powerful as DNA, has the unequivocal ability to tell stories and supercharges marketers to deliver on their visions.
